Law360, New York (June 30, 2009) -- In recent weeks, the new commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Margaret A. Hamburg, has declared that she wants to “pump up enforcement” at FDA, the federal agency responsible for regulating more than $2 trillion in food, drugs, biological products, medical devices, cosmetics and dietary supplements (and now, tobacco).
