Merck's Fosamax May Boost Cancer Risk: FDA Official

Law360, New York (January 05, 2009) -- In the latest blow to Merck & Co. Inc. over Fosamax, a U.S. Food and Drug Administration official has said the popular osteoporosis treatment and other similar drugs may increase the risk of developing esophageal cancer.
